Fireweek

Open Fire Station is a big part of Fireweek, which is an annual, nationwide information campaign in Norway. The campaign is organized by the Norwegian Fire Protection Association, the Directorate for Social Security and Emergency Response and If P&C Insurance, together with fire services and electrical supervision across the country.

Open Fire Station is an event where families come together to learn about fire safety. In september 2017 the Open Fire Station in Oslo was arrenged at Eidsvolls Plass, which is also known as Spikersuppa.
